6th death anniv of IUBAT founder VC Alimullah Miyan today

The 6th death anniversary of Prof Dr M Alimullah Miyan, pioneer of non-government university in Bangladesh and founder vice chancellor of IUBAT, will be observed today (Wednesday), says a press release.
Prof Dr M Alimullah Miyan was born at Kailine village in Chandina upazilla of Comilla district. He completed his BCom (Hons) in 1962 and MCom in 1963 from Dhaka University. He received his MBA from Indiana University, USA in 1968 and PhD at Manchester Business School, UK in 1976. He established IUBAT as the non-government Uuniversity in Bangladesh in January 1991.
