7 drug peddlers jailed in Dinajpur

DINAJPUR, Nov 16 (UNB): A mobile court in Dinajpur on Tuesday convicted seven drug peddlers and sentenced them to different terms of imprisonment for selling and consuming drugs.
BGB officer Major Muntasur Mamun Siddiqui said they launched separate drives in the district town on Sunday and Monday and arrested them for selling and consuming spurious drugs.
On Tuesday, the arrestees were produced before the mobile court and the court led by executive magistrate Tafazzal Hossain handed down the verdict.
