7 held over murder of RAB man’s wife

GAZIPUR, Dec 3 (bdnews24.com): Seven persons were arrested over the murder of a RAB member's wife during an incident of burglary in Gazipur.
RAB Assistant Director Maksudul Alam said they were nabbed during raids at different places of Tongi.
"Among the arrestees four are directly linked to the murder while the three others assisted them," he said.
One of the four directly related to the murder was identified as Abul Bashar Hawlader, a resident of Patuakhali's Bunia area. However, RAB did not reveal identities of others.
Details would be disclosed at a press briefing later in the day at the RAB-4 Mirpur office, said Maksudul Alam.
