7 ICS cadres held over IU clashes

KUSHTIA, July 20 (bdnews24.com): Police raided the four halls early Monday in the Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia and arrested seven pro-Jamaat-e-Islami student organisation Islami Chhatra Shibir (ICS) cadres following clashes with Bangladesh Chhatra League over control of the halls Sunday night.
The arrested were Bangabandhu Hall Shibir unit president Mostafiz, secretary Jami, Zakir and activists Mokaddes, Noman, Rouf and Mohiuddin.
