A Dhaka court Wednesday placed seven people on a five-day remand in a case filed in connection with the gun attack on former Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) president Enamul Haque Shamim in the city, reports UNB.
Metropolitan Magistrate Mohammad Mostafizur Rahman passed the order when Mohammad Matiur Rahman, sub-inspector of Dhanmondi Police Station and also the investigation officer of the case, produced them before the court seeking 10 days' remand for each of them.
Those remanded are Nur-e-Alam Siddique, Rana Hawladar, Nazimul Haque Mithu, Mohammad Monir Hossain, Mohammad Harun, Mehedi Hasan and Nazrul Islam Jewel.
