70 passenger coaches under repair in Syedpur

NILPHAMARI, Sept 22: To carry increased number of railway passengers in the ensuing Eid-ul-Azha Syedpur Railway Workshop has undertaken a scheme to repair and renovate 70 passenger coaches on an urgent basis.
At present the repairing works are going on in four shops of the workshop. In the meantime repairing of 25 coaches has been completed and already handed over to the Traffic Division. The repairing of the rest of the targeted number of coaches is going on very speedily. The workers have been asked to render extra tine works for which they would get proper extra time allowance.
While contacted Works Manager of the workshop Md. Kudrat E Khuda said, "In the last Eid-Ul-Fitr we undertook the same approach and we were successful. This time this initiative also would meet satisfactory outcome".
