70 sacks of fertilizer seized

PATUAKHALI, Sept 26 (UNB): Police seized 70 sacks of urea fertilizer from Kalaiyaghat under Baufal upazila here Tuesday night while being smuggled out of the country.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of the police captured a trawler carrying the fertilizer at about 10pm and arrested boatman Sohrab.
Police said they raided the trawler when Sohrab after loading the fertilizer from local Saikat Enterprise was leaving the area secretly.
A case was filed.
