710 vacant nurse posts to be filled from FF quota

The government has decided to preserve 710 vacant posts as senior staff nurses and nurses under the Freedom Fighters' (FF) Quota for the freedom fighters and their offsprings, reports UNB.
The decision was taken at the regular cabinet meeting Monday held at the Secretariat with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.
Briefing newsmen after the meeting at the PID conference room, Prime Minister's Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad said the cabinet also decided that new advertisements would be issued for recruitment to the vacant nurse posts.
Then, if the vacant posts cannot be filled by the offsprings of the freedom fighters, their grandsons and granddaughters would receive preference for recruitment to the posts.
The cabinet meeting was also informed about the outcomes of the 5th meeting of the Bangladesh-Europe Joint Commission held on May 31 this year in the city, Azad said.
