790 bottles Phensidyl recovered

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) personnel recovered 790 bottles of Phensidyl syrup in Kalaroa Upazila headquarters in Shatkhira district on Thursday. Being tipped off, a RAB-6 team conducted a drive in Kalaroa town and recovered 790 bottles of Phensidyl in an abandoned condition in the afternoon, said in-charge of Satkhira RAB-6 camp ASP Kazimur Rashid. The bottles of Phensidyl were being smuggled into the country, he said. None was arrested as the smugglers managed to flee sensing the presence of the elite force, according to a news agency.
