8 indicted in Ctg flyover collapse

A Chittagong court has indicted eight people for the collapse of a flyover in the port city that claimed 13 lives. Chittagong Metropolitan Sessions Judge SM Mojibur Rahman issued the order on Wednesday rejecting a non-confidence plea. State counsel Fakhruddin Chowdhury said the judge turned down the petition and ordered indictment of the accused. The non-confidence petition was filed to further investigate the case against a charge-sheet submitted by police on June 3. Recording of testimonies in the case will start on July 16, Chowdhury said, according to bdnews24.com.
