8 terrorists arrested in abduction case

CHITTAGONG, Aug 29: Law enforcers yesterday arrested eight terrorists from Bandarban hill district for their alleged involvement in the abduction of two rubber gardens employees.
A team of police and RAB members rounded up the tribal youths in the early hours on Thursday from Boughat, Kolachi and Badurjhari villages near Baishari forest under Naikhongchhari police station in Bandarban.
They were Jiban Chak of Chak Para, Prakash Chakma of Hirachari, Kebla Chakma of Mohajan Para, Bohira Chakma of Hatimara, Moishonh Murung of Wangchhari, Muna Chakma of Bandarhaba, Mongal Chakma of Matiranga and Ubhoyching Marma of Bandarban town hall area.
