800 sued over clash that led to Sylhet OC\\\'s death

A case has been filed against 800 people in connection with Wednesday’s clash in Sylhet among transport which led to the death of the officer-in-charge of Osmaninagar Police Station. Sub-inspector Anwar Hossain of Osmaninagar Police Station filed the case against 100 named and 700 unnamed people on Wednesday night, said Sylhet’s additional superintendent of police Sugyan Chakma. Police arrested 41 people in connection with the clashes on Thursday morning. Mustafizur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Osmaninagar Police Station, died of cardiac arrest when he attempted to calm down two rival groups of transport workers at Goalabazar on Wednesday afternoon, according to a news agency.
