8,000 Ansar to guard railway tracks: Minister

Minister for Railways M Mujibul Hoque said Sunday the government will soon deploy around 8,000 Ansar personnel across the country to strengthen security measures to deal with any possible act of sabotage on railway tracks, reports UNB.
The minister also said Ansar personnel will work with the regular Government Railway Police (GRP) and RNB to ensure security for the smooth rail communication and safety of railway passengers.
