Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) recovered 850 bottles of phensidyl from a microbus at Shekhertek in Mirpur early Tuesday, reports UNB.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of RAB-4 chased the microbus and intercepted it at Pisciculture Housing area at about 2:30am. Later, they recovered some 850 bottles of banned Indian cough syrup from it.
However, the elite force could not arrest anyone as the drug peddlers managed to escape sensing the presence of the RAB men.
