SYLHET, May 31: Eighty five per cent litigation is derived of the land related complexities. The suffering and harassment of common people will come to end if we can complete the digitalisation of the land record system.
State minister for land Saifuzzaman Chowdhury said so while talking to the newsmen during his visit to the Sylhet Sadar upazila land office Saturday afternoon. Deputy Commissioner of Sylhet Md. Shahidul Islam and other officials were present.
Steps have been taken to stop harassment of common men for getting mutation of land record, land development tax payment etc, he added, arrangement will be made soon so that people can pay the land tax and other government dues through online banking or mobile phone.The government has been working in this regard, he added. iqbal1527@hotmail.com
