893 carton cigarettes seized at airport

Customs intelligence officials seized 893 cartons of contraband cigarettes from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the city Monday morning, reports UNB.
Airport custom officials said a flight of Qatar Airlines 'QR 632' from Pakistan via Doha landed at the airport around 5:15 am.
Tipped-off, customs intelligence officials challenged two passengers and recovered the 893 cartons of cigarettes worth about Tk 2.0 million.
