8th founding anniversary of NU Khulna campus held

KHULNA, Oct 31: The government passed the private university bill for the upgradation of quality of education, said the Jatiya Sangsad Whip Principal Sheikh Abdul Wahab yesterday while he was addressing as chief guest at the 8th founding anniversary of the Northern University Khulna Campus.
M Mominul Islam, Coordinator of Northern University Khulna campus, presided over the function and it was addressed, among others, by Chairman of Akij Group Sheikh Nasiruddin, Managing Director of Jahanabad Sea Food Limited Abdul Jabbar and Professor Dr. Anwarul Karim.
The Whip said the Northern University opened the scope for education of the deprived people of the southwestern region. He urged the university authority to take necessary measures for the poor and meritorious students for their study.
