8th Scout Jamboree begins today

The 8th National Scout Jamboree will begin at Mouchak in Gazipur today (Saturday). Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is expected to inaugurate the weeklong event, reports UNB.
A total of 13,000 scouts from home and abroad are participating in the jamboree.
The sources said, president of Bangladesh Scouts Md Momtazul Islam would preside over the inaugural session, while chief national commissioner of Bangladesh Scouts Mohammad Abul Kalam Azad and National Commissioner Mozammel Haque Khan would also address it.
