90 cartons of cigarettes seized at airport

Customs Intelligence officials seized 90 cartons of illegal foreign cigarettes Friday and detained a Pakistani national at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) in the capital, reports UNB.
Sources at the Customs Intelligence and Investigation Directorate (CIID) said Pakistani citizen, Yusuf, landed at the airport from Karachi by a Pakistan International Airlines flight around 12:30 pm.
When he was passing through the airport's green channel, CIID members challenged him and recovered the 90 cartons of cigarettes searching his luggage.
