900 BD workers in Libya return home via Egypt today

Some 900 Bangladeshi workers employed in Libya were scheduled to return home from Egypt today (Sunday), the Foreign Ministry has said. So far 13,429 Bangladeshi workers have been repatriated from Egypt and Tunisia borders -- 3,289 by the employer companies and 10,142 by IOM. Briefing reporters on the repatriation process, Additional Foreign Secretary Mostafa Kamal said Biman Bangladesh in its maiden flight will carry 300 Bangladeshis from Alexan­dria today (Sunday). - UNB
