900 BRTC buses to run for Eid

Communications Minister Obaidul Quader Tuesday said the state-run transport corporation, BRTC, would launch a special service with its 900 buses across the country ahead of holy Eid-ul-Fitr. "The BRTC (Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation) would conduct the special service on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr from July 24 and the advance tickets will be available from July 20," he said while launching four auto-transmission training cars at BRTC's Tejgaon training centre in the city. He said passengers could collect the tickets from BRTC bus depots.    — BSS
