90,000 yaba pills seized by Navy men in Ctg

CHITTAGONG, Dec 25: Members of the Bangladesh Navy seized 90,000 pills of yaba from a boat at the outer anchorage of Chittagong Port in the early hours today.
The seizure took place during a regular patrol near the Sangu Gas field at about 1:00 am.
The Navy officers of the patrol team of Navy ship "Nirbhik" ordered the crews of the mechanised boat to stop but the crews left the boat and fled by another boat for shore safely.
Later the Navy men searched the boat left by the criminals and found the pills in nine packets. Each packet contains 10,000 pills. The boat has been seized.
