90.41 pass JSC, JDC exams

The results of this year’s Junior School Certificate (JSC), Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC), Primary School Certificate (PSC) and Ebtedayee examinations have been published. According to reliable sources at the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, 90.41 per cent passed the JSC and JDC examinations of 2014. The success rate was 89.94pc last year. Sources said 89.85pc passed the JSC exams and 93.50pc passed the JDC exams. A total of 97.92 pc passed the PSC exams while 95.98pc came out successful in Ebtedayee tests. Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid and Primary and Mass Education Minister Mostafizur Rahman handed over copies of the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Ganabhaban around 9:00am on Tuesday. The education minister and the primary and mass education minister will officially announce the results of the public tests at a press conference at the Secretariat around 11:30am. After the press conferences, the results of JSC and JDC examinations will be available on, www.educationboardresults.gov.bd, the website of the education board and the results of PSC and equivalent examinations will be available on, www.dpe.gov.bd, or http://dpe.teletalk.com.bd, websites. Besides, the students can get their results through mobile SMS. For the results of PSC, students have to write DPE<>Thana/Upazila Code<>Roll Number<>2014 and sent to 16222 number from any mobile operator. For the results of Ebtedayee, EBT<>Thana/Upazila Code<>Roll Number<>2014 and sent to 16222 number. For JSC/JDC results, JSC/JDC<>first three letters of board name<>Roll Number<>2014 to 16222 number. About 2.3 million students appeared in this year's JSC and JDC examinations which began on November 7 and ended on November 20 while around 2.8m examinees sat for PSC and Ebtedayee tests across the country, according to private TV channels.
