9th death anniv of Abdus Samad Azad today

The 9th death anniversary of veteran Awami League (AL) leader and former foreign minister Abdus Samad Azad will be observed today (Sunday), reports BSS.
Different programmes, including Quran Khwani and milad mahfil, will be arranged at his Kalabagan Lake Circus Road residence at 8.00 am in the city today (Sunday).
Bangladesh Awami League and its associated bodies and other socio-cultural organisations will lay wreaths at his grave at Banani graveyard in the city at 9.00 am to pay respect to the deceased.
Besides, a milad mahfil would be held at Kalabagan Lake Circus Mosque after Asr prayers seeking divine blessings of the departed soul. Family members of the deceased requested all including friends, relatives, colleagues and well-wishers of Samad Azad to attend the milad.
