9th Nat’l men's baseball meet begins today

The 9th National Men's Baseball championship begins today (Friday) at the Bangladesh Ansar Academy in Safipur, Gazipur, reports BSS.
Director General of the Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party Major General Abdul Motaleb Sazzad Mahmud is expected to inaugurate the meet as the chief guest.
The three-day tournament, organised by Bangladesh Baseball-Softball Association (BBSA), aims to promote the expansion of baseball in Bangladesh, develop talented players, and strengthen competitive baseball at the national level.
Recognised as the country's most prestigious baseball competition on the national calendar, the championship will feature top players representing districts, forces teams and clubs from across the country.
