A free thalassemia carrier screening and awareness camp was held at Asian University for Women, Chattogram in association with First Security Islami Bank Ltd and Institute for Developing Science and Health Initiatives (ideSHi). Dr Firdausi Qadri, laureate of Ramon Magsaysay Award 2021 & Independence Award-2023, Syed Waseque Md Ali, managing director of First Security Islami Bank Ltd and officials from Asian University for Women joined the programme.
