A free thalassemia carrier screening and awareness camp was held in association of First Security Islami Bank Ltd. and Institute for Developing Science and Health Initiatives (ideSHi) Saturday at Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College, Dhaka. Dr. Firdausi Qadri, winner of Ramon Magsaysay Award 2021 and Lead, Institute for Developing Science and Health Initiatives, Mr. Syed Waseque Md. Ali, Managing Director, First Security Islami Bank Ltd. and Mr. Professor Dr. ABM Maksudul Alam, Principal, Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College, Dhaka were present in the programme.
