A postal stamp for Musa Ibrahim
Sunday, 11 July 2010
It is advocated by Sir Frank Peters that Bangladesh Post Office issues a stamp in honour of Musa Ibrahim.
It's a brilliant and novel idea. It mirrors what the people of the nation would like to see, and one that would bring much kudos to Bangladesh internationally.
When is the last time, if ever, Bangladesh Post Office issued a stamp of international interest or even of national interest?
Honouring Musa Ibrahim with a stamp is the least this nation could do to show its appreciation for his heroism and great historic achievement.
There will be mile long queues of people at post offices wanting to buy the stamps and I will be first in line.
