aamra networks opens data centre

aamra networks has launched a state-of the-art data centre in the capital to provide service to MNCs, telcos, banks and other public and private organisations.
"The company has initially invested an around of Tk. 128.00 million as on November 22, 2017," the company said in a public disclosure.
The company also said the data centre, established at Kemal Ataturk Avenue, Banani, has unique facilities such as advanced server infrastructures, multi-zone fire protection, enterprise class equipment and redundant isolated path architectures.
It also said aamra's data center is currently ready for business and began operation from Wednesday.
"Bangladesh is experiencing extensive data growth and expansion, aamra's data center is fully equipped and ready to be embraced this increased capacity requirement from leading MNCs, telcos, banks and other public and private organisations," the company disclosure added.
According to DSE information, sponsor-directors hold 33.04 per cent shares of aamra networks, while institutions hold 27.81 per cent, foreign investors 16.40 per cent and general shareholders 22.75 per cent.
On Wednesday, the company's share price rose 4.43 per cent or Tk 4.1 to close at Tk 95.90.
