AASHS earn 18-run win over Viqarunnisa Noon

Amjad Ali Sarker Pilot Girls' High School (AASHS) upset Viqarunnisa Noon School and College B team beating them by 18 runs in their first match of the 3rd Girls' School Cricket Tournament at the Azimpur Girls School ground Wednesday with extra runs deciding the match fate, reports UNB.
Winning the toss, Amjad Ali Sarker Pilot Girls High School batted first and scored 70 runs for all in 16.4 overs with 63 runs coming from extras and only seven runs coming from the bat.
Mahfuza Akhter (3), Urmi Akhter (2), Afrin Jahan (1) and Lucky Akhter (1) were the scorers for Amjad Ali High while the rest seven players returned to the pavilion with a duck.
Simran Khan picked up four wickets for 18 runs, Afsara Tasnim grabbed three wickets for 12 runs while Tanisha took two wickets for 16 runs.
