AB Bank donates kidney dialysis machines to BIRDEM

AB Bank Limited, the first private sector commercial bank of the country has donated two haemodialysis machines to Dialysis and Kidney Transplantation Unit of BIRDEM Hospital in the city recently. The donation is a part of AB Bank's on going corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, said a press statement. Kaiser A Chowdhury President and Managing Director of AB Bank Limited handed over the machines to head of the Dialysis and Kidney Transplantation unit Dr Abul Mansur at a simple ceremony at BIRDEM. The occasion was graced by Minister for Social Welfare, Enamul Haq Mostafa Shahid. Barrister Rafiqul Huq was also present along with senior officials of BIRDEM and AB Bank Limited at the simple ceremony.
