AB Bank joins central bank for refinancing on solar energy

AB Bank Ltd signed an agreement with Bangladesh Bank (BB) for joining 'Solar Energy, Bio-Gas, and Effluent Treatment Plant Refinance Scheme' at the central bank's head office in the city recently.
Kaiser A Chowdhury, president and managing director (MD) of AB Bank Ltd, and Md Abul Quasem, executive director of Bangladesh Bank, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
Under the deal, AB Bank will strive to further enrich its three-decade-long role as development partner to Bangladesh's economy.
SM Moniruzzaman, general manager (ACSPD, Bangladesh Bank), Faruq M Ahmed and Shamim A Chaudhury, DGMs of AB Bank, and other officials from both the organisations were also present.
