AB Bank planning network of ATMs and Pos

AB Bank Ltd. And Euronet Worldwide have expressed their intention to work towards a nationwide network of ATM's and PO's (Point of Sales) devices and provide land management service for debit, prepaid and credit to the banks and their customer's in Bangladesh.
To introduce this concept of Multilateral Financial Network system, presentation sessions were arranged in a local hotel recently. This concept includes invitations to other banks in Bangladesh to join this venture.
The network of ATMs and POs is reported to be planned to match world class network with the offerings including Value Added Services like Mobile Recharge, Bill Payment, Credit Card Payment, Ready Credit and Bio-metric ATM's especially for rural population.
This venture will create a new horizon ensuring electronic financial payment convenience of millions of people in Bangladesh who have not had it before. The ATM's PO's network and card management teams would be offered on an end to end outsourced model and is expected to be priced on transaction based or per card basis. The services are expected to be live in the next three to five months.
Mr. Loney Antony, Managing Director, Euronet Worldwide (India) presented Euronet as industry leader in processing secure electronic financial transaction. The company operates the largest Indian shared ATM network. Euronet services clients in approximately 100 countries.
