A brilliant hattrick by striker Enamul Haque guided holders Abahani Limited to an easy 4-0 goal win over Chittagong Mohammedan SC in the lone match of the Citycell Bangladesh League on the Bangabandhu National Stadium in the city Monday, reports UNB.
Abahani dominates the points table maintaining all-win run with 58 points while Chittagong Mohammedan SC remained at 20 points, both playing 20 matches.
In the day's one-sided affairs, Enamul made hattrick scoring three goals while Zahed Parvez Chowdhury netted the other one goal for the winners, who led the first half 1-0.
Enamul put Abahani ahead in the 7th minute with a lofted shot from inside the danger zone on a long pass from Zahed Parvez Chowdhury (1-0).
After the lemon break, he doubled the margin for his team in the 55th minute with a placing shot from inside the D-box off a pass from Awudu Ibrahim (2-0).
The promising striker completed his hattrick goal with a push after his close-header off Zahed Parvez minus fisted by Chittagong Mohammedan's custodian Lamin Suma came to his way in the 85th minute (3-0).
