Abahani observes Sheikh Kamal's birth anniv today

Abahani Limited will observe the 72nd birth anniversary of its club founder Shaheed Sheikh Kamal, the eldest son of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, through various programmes on its premises in the city today (Thursday), reports BSS.
The directors, officials and players of Abahani Club will pay tributes to Sheikh Kamal by placing wreaths at his portrait on the club premises at 12.01 am (early Thursday) by offering special prayer seeking eternal peace for the departed soul of Kamal.
The programmes also include day-long recitation from the holy Quran, a virtual discussion meeting on Sheikh Kamal at 4pm and doa-mahfil at the club Bhaban after the Asr prayers maintaining social distancing amid the coronavirus pandemic.
