Abahani post massive win

Abahani Limited Dhaka registered their second win in the Bangladesh Football League crushing Fakirerpool Young Men's Club by 5-0 goals held at Shaheed Miraj-Tapan Stadium in Manikganj on Saturday, reports BSS.
Abahani who dominated in the one-sided affair, led the first half by 3-0 goals.
In the day's match, Malian forward Souleymane Diabate put Abahani ahead in the 32nd minute and he doubled the lead scoring the second goal in the 41st minute of the match.
Mirajul Islam further widened the margin scoring the third goal for Abahani Limited in the 44th minute of the match.
After the resumption, midfielder Sheikh Morsalin scored the fourth goal for Abahani in the 79th minute and forward Al Amin completed the winners' tally scoring the fifth goal for Abahani in the 86th minute of the match. Abahani completely dominated the entire proceeding and notched their deserving victory on the day while Fakirerpool were totally off-colored.
With the day's win, the traditional sky blue Dhanmondi outfit Abahani Limited secured eight points from six matches while Fakirerpool remained at their previous collection of five points playing the same number of matches.
Abahani will play their next match against PWD Sports Club while Fakirerpool will play against Fortis Football Club on December 19 and 20 respectively. On the other hand, Bangladesh Police Football Club split point with PWD Sports Club when their match ended in a tame goalless draw in the Bangladesh Football League held at Shaheed Barkat Stadium in Gazipur.
In the day's match, both the teams got several scoring chances but failed to score any in the proceeding lack of proper finishing.
With the day's outcome, Bangladesh Police bagged seven points from six matches while PWD collected six points playing the same number of matches. PWD Sports Club will play their next match against Abahani Limited Dhaka while Bangladesh Police Football Club will face Bashundhara Kings on December 19 and 20 respectively.
