Abahani, Prime Bank win

Dhaka Abahani Limited registered the 3rd win in their 5th match of the Walton Metropolis Premier Division Cricket League beating Partex SC by six wickets at the BKSP ground-3 in Savar Tuesday, reports UNB.
In the day's other matches, Dhaka Mohammedan SC conceded the 3rd defeat in their 5th league encounter losing to Prime Bank CC by four wickets at the Khan Saheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah while Kalabagan KC tasted the 2nd victory beating all-losers Old DOHS by 90 runs at the BKSP ground 4 in Savar.
After the day's 5th round matches, Legends of Rupganj top the list securing full 10 points from five matches while Prime Bank CC follow with eight points from five matches.
At the BKSP ground-3 in Savar, batting first after winning the toss, Partex SC were all out for 170 runs in 49.2 overs.
Middle order batsman Mehrab Hossain Jr scored team highest 54 runs off 76 balls with seven fours while opener Rony Talukder made a patient 35 runs off 94 balls with five boundaries.
National all-rounder Nasir Hossain claimed three wickets for 23 runs and Nazmul Islam also grabbed three wickets for 26 runs. National colour pacer Al Amin Hossain bagged two wickets for 23 runs while Saqlain Sajib also took two wickets for 33 runs.
In reply, Abahani Limited easily reached their target scoring 175 runs for 4 wickets in 33.1 overs.
Opener Litton Das scored team highest 64 runs off 49 balls with 10 fours and a six while top order national colour batsman Raqibul Hasan contributed not out 44 runs off 62 balls with two fours and two sixes.
Riazul Karim picked up two wickets for 56 runs.
At Fatullah, Dhaka Mohammedan SC opened the innings after winning the toss and scored 185 for 8 in stipulated 50 overs.
Captain Naeem Islam contributed team highest not out 56 runs off 90 balls with five fours while opener Ejaz Ahmed scored run-a-ball 30 with six fours.
Shuvagata Hom claimed three wickets for 39 runs while EMDY Munaweera took two wickets for 35 runs.
In reply, Prime Bank CC scored the match-winning 186 runs for 6 wickets in 43.3 overs.
Middle order batsman Shuvagata Hom scored 47 runs off 50 balls with five fours and a six while opener Saikat Ali made 46 runs off 65 balls with five fours and two sixes.
Rahatul Ferdous took three wickets for 33 runs.
At the BKSP ground-4 in Savar, Kalabagan KC batted first to post a moderate 220 runs for 8 wickets in allocated 50 overs.
Sri Lankan batsman Jehan Mubarak contributed 50 runs off 89 balls with two fours and a six while national spinner Abdur Razzak hammered 34 runs off 17 balls with three fours and two sixes.
Nihaduzzaman grabbed three wickets for 58 runs while Shehan Jayasuriya took two wickets for 22 runs.
In reply, Old DOHS were dismissed cheaply for 130 runs in 37.3 overs with Ahsanul Haque making 32 and Shehan Jayasuriya 31 runs. National spinner Abdur Razzak caused the major damage to DOHS innings grabbing fours wickets for 16 runs in four overs including a maiden.
