Abducted businessman rescued in city

A businessman abducted by identified miscreants from Adabar area in Dhaka on Saturday, has been rescued from the city’s Dhanmondi area. Police rescued abducted garment businessman Sohel and arrested one of the kidnappers on Sunday afternoon. The arrested abductor was identified as Fuad Mohammad Shah. Police said the businessman, Sohel, was picked up from ‘Tokyo Square’ of Japan Garden City of Adabar around 12:30pm on Saturday.
Being informed, a team of Adabar Police Station rescued the victim from the underground basement of Northern International Medical College Hospital of Dhanmondi around 4:30am on Sunday, said officer-in-charge of the police station Gazi Ruhul Imam. Fuad Mohammad Shah was arrested from the spot, the OC added, according to UNB.
