Abduction or forced disappearance

The whole country heaved a sigh of relief when the kidnappers set free Abu Bakar Siddique, husband of noted environment lawyer Syeda Rizwana Hasan. Forced disappearance has become a commonplace in our country and few victims come back alive. The near and dear ones of the victims bear with excruciating pain the loss of such disappearances.
Very often the law enforcers are accused of picking up anyone they like but always denying doing it. In the case of abduction of Rizwana's husband, the forced disappearance has come to the limelight. It will surely compel the government to take notice of it and work for stopping this heinous crime. Extra-judicial killing and the incidents like forced disappearance create fear in the mind of the common people.
Security is the main concern of a citizen. Everyone wants safety of life and property. The conscious people of our country should create pressure on the government so that the law and order situation is improved and we don't see incidents of extra-judicial killing, forced disappearance and abduction.
