BEIJING, Nov 23 (AFP): About 30 people are believed to have been killed after a landslide buried a bus in central China early this week, state press reported Friday.
They were travelling on the bus in Badong county, Hubei province, Tuesday when the landslide occurred, Xinhua news agency said.
Rescuers cleared away enough of the rubble to reach the front of the bus early Friday morning but there were no signs of life, Xinhua said.
Syria to join ME meet if 'Golan
on agenda'
CAIRO, Nov 23 (AFP): Syria will participate in next week's US sponsored Middle East peace conference if the issue of the occupied Golan Heights is 'explicitly' included on the agenda, an Arab diplomatic source told the news agency in Cairo.
Syria has been invited to the conference in Annapolis, Maryland aimed at reviving the long-dormant Middle East peace process despite strained relations between Washington and Damascus.
