Abrupt honking should be stopped: Minister
Saturday, 14 October 2023
Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Md. Shahab Uddin has called on all to refrain from abrupt honking of horns everywhere, reports UNB.
"We don't make sound pollution when driving in cantonment areas or foreign countries. But we honked again and again after crossing the cantonment. We need to come out of this habit," he said.
The minister said this while speaking at the inauguration programme of the expansion of Moulvibazar District Scout Building as the chief guest.
Shahab Uddin said there will be a minute's silence in the capital on October 15 at 10 am to raise awareness about noise pollution.
