Absconding war crimes accused Akram held

RAJSHAHI, June 20 (Agencies): Police in a drive arrested Khan Akram Hossain, an absconding wanted accused in a case for crimes against humanity during the War of Liberation in 1971 from Bhogroil in the city Friday.
Akram (60), a resident of Dengahati under Morelganj Upazila of Bagerhat district commander of Doiboggohati Razakar camp, was on run since the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-1 issued warrant to arrest him on June 10.
