Abu Taher elected UAPF chairman

Engr M Abu Taher was elected chairman of The University of Asia Pacific Foundation (UAPF) at its seventh annual general meeting (AGM) held recently, says a press release.
Taher is the chairperson of Fortuna Bangladesh and also sponsor director of People's Insurance Company and Union Capital Ltd. He is actively involved with BGMEA, Bangladesh Finished Leather Goods and Exporters' Association, Bangladesh Tanners' Association and member of American Chamber of Commerce and Industries.
Monzoor Ahmed Chowdhury was elected senior vice-chairman and architect Mahabuba Haque and Tashmeen Shayera Moyeen vice-chairmen and KM Akhtaruzzaman treasurer of UAPF.
