AC explosion kills one in city

One person was killed and two others were injured when an air conditioner (AC) exploded at a hotel at Gulshan in the capital Friday.
The accident took place on the rooftop of the multi-storied Six Seasons Hotel at around 3:00 pm on the day. The explosion happened when a technician was repairing the AC, leaving him (technician) dead on the spot and the two others injured.    
The building of the hotel did not sustain any damage, according to the Fire Service control office.  
"The AC explosion killed one person on the spot and injured two," a duty officer at the Gulshan Police Station told the FE.
He said the injured Tasib (31) and Shohel (33) were admitted to the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital. He, however, said no case was registered till filing the report at 7:30 pm.
