FE Report | Thursday, 17 October 2019

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Wednesday arrested red-handed an office assistant of Jamalpur General Hospital while taking bribe at his office.
The detainee, Kazi Golam Mostafa Khokon, also a typist at the hospital, was caught in possession of total Tk 133,000 that he realised as bribes, according to ACC public relations department.
The commission came to know that Khokon realised Tk 36,000 as bribes from 24 nurses of the hospital while disbursing their entertainment allowance by holding files.
Acting on that information, an ACC team from its Tangail office led by deputy director Md Mostafizur Rahman raided Khokon's office at around 12pm.
