ACC files cases against ex-lawmaker Sadek Khan, his wife

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has filed three separate cases against former lawmaker of Dhaka-13 constituency Md. Sadeq Khan, his wife Ferdousi Khan, and his son Fahim Sadeq Khan on charges of amassing wealth beyond known sources of income, reports BSS.
The cases were filed on Wednesday with ACC, said ACC Director General (Prevention) Md Akther Hossain at a press briefing. Sadek Khan was made the accused in all three cases.
During the inquiry, the commission has found that Md Sadeq Khan owns immovable assets of over Tk 98.3 million (9.83 crore) and movable assets of over Tk 24.1 million.
