ACC files graft cases against ex-whip Swapon, wife

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has filed two cases against former whip of the Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Abu Sayeed Al Mahmud Swapon and his wife Mehbuba Alam for their alleged involvement in acquiring assets illegally, reports BSS.
ACC Deputy Director (DD) Public Relations said the commission approved a prayer for filing separate cases against Swapon and his wife on Sunday and the cases have already been lodged against them.
