ACC files seven cases against Gopalganj Municipality chairman

GOPALGANJ, Sept 30 (UNB): Anti-corruption Commission (ACC) filed seven more cases against Gopalganj Municipality Chairman Hasmat Ali Sikder Chunnu Saturday.
Deputy Director of ACC (Faridpur) M Fana Fillah filed the cases with Sadar police station on various charges, including money embezzlement and tax evasion.
Joint forces arrested Hasmat Ali on February 25 from the municipality area. He was suspended from his post some days ago.
With these seven, a total of 12 cases have been filed against him.
