ACC grills Adilur, Nasir Uddin
Thursday, 23 January 2014
The Anti-corruption Commission (ACC) Wednesday interrogated Adilur Rahman, secretary of Odhikar, a human rights organisation, and its director Nasir Uddin in connection with misappropriation of foreign fund.
ACC deputy director Harunur Rashid quizzed them for an hour from 3.00 pm at the Commission head office, ACC public relations officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya told UNB.
Talking to reporters before leaving the ACC head office, Adilur Rahman said the graft watchdog earlier sought some documents of Odhikar and they provided these documents to it on the day.
Allegations have it that Adilur and some others received huge money from foreign donors showing fake projects of Odhikar and plundered it.
