ACC grills ex-foreign minister Morshed Khan

The Anti Corruption Commission(ACC)  Tuesday  interrogated former Foreign Minister M Morshed Khan and his son Faisal Morshed Khan for about two hours in a money-laundering case, reports UNB.
ACC deputy director Mir Zoynul Abedin Shibly, also the investigation officer of the case, questioned Morshed and his son from 10:15 am to 12 pm.
Emerging from the interrogation Morshed Khan told reporters he submitted a written statement to ACC on the allegation against him.
"The allegation brought against me does not mean that I'm guilty.
Relevant witness and evidence are needed to convict me," he said.
On December 31 last year the ACC filed the case against Morshed, also a BNP leader, his wife and son with the city's Gulshan Police Station accusing them of siphoning off money to Hong Kong.
According the first information report (FIR), there were seven bank accounts against the names of Fharid Telecom Limited, its owners Morshed Khan and his wife and son, in Hong Kong.
